Trap Lord Is Getting Socially Conscious With A New Streetwear Line

28 year old Harlem-born rapper, ASAP FERG, announced an amazing initiative for Spring/Summer 2017! Ferg (aka Darold D. Brown Ferguson, Jr.) has a clothing line called Traplord and he partnered with Uniform, an ethically conscious label produced in Africa.

With this amazing one for one collaboration, each item sold provides a school uniform for a local child.

Ferg told Vogue:

“You see a lot of [kids] in the streets because they can’t afford a uniform and therefore can’t go to school.”

Ferg had the opportunity to travel to Liberia with Liberty and meet the women who work in Uniform’s factories. He also spent time with the kids who would receive the new uniforms, as captured by photographer Daniel Arnold in the images below.
