Making A Quick Nutritious Breakfast With Nature's Path
I’m am so excited to be in the new realm of early motherhood and despite being in quarantine - already feeling the necessity to be efficient and create avenues of simplicity. As a morning person - I’m already finding that I have to jam pack so much into my morning schedule to get my day started. However, one area where I’ve been able to save time is during breakfast time!
As a pregnant mom - breakfast is a critical ritual to start the day with proper nutrients. I used to make these elaborate breakfast meals that required prep and so much cleaning. Now I’m finding that smoothies or a simple avocado toast is my new go to. However, oatmeal has been my #1 favorite over the past few months.
I’ve been loving the Blueberry Cinnamon Flax Instant Oatmeal by Nature’s Path Organic! It’s nutritious, versatile and easy to make whether I have a checklist of things to get done around the house or have to run out for doctors appointments on the go.
Here is my simple morning instant Oatmeal Recipe:
2 packs of Nature’s Path Organic instant oatmeal
1/2 cup of boiled water
1 tbsp of vegan butter
2 tbsps of plant-based milk
1/2 tbsp of cinnamon
1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
1/2 tbsp of chia seeds
Handful of blueberries
Handful of pecans
