Brooklyn Is Waking Up With An Indie Natural Beauty Event By HOLISTICITILYFE
It's no surprise that BROOKLYN is quickly becoming a mecca for sustainable living where communities are supporting local craft and conscious consumerism.
On Sunday November 29th HolistiCitiLyfe hosted an "Unmask Your Natural Beauty" event to get together a diverse group of makers to celebrate natural beauty. The Autumn-themed shindig was an intimate afternoon of natural beauty and hand-crafted jewelry vendors. All guests were encouraged to support the local brands and also go the opportunity to to have a complimentary reading by well-known tarot card reader Tantianna Tarot of My Urban Illumination.
Swag bags were given to VIP guests and were filled with travel size goodies from Brooklyn-based organic skincare brand SW Basics, natural fragrance brand Lurk, apothecary brand PLANT, Butter by Keba and Love Notes LLC. The amazing raffle sponsors were Urbana Asanas and two phenomenal head brands The Wrap Life and Cee Cee's Closet.
All in the name health and wellness, the social took place at the black-owned House of Juice Brooklyn - an exceptional “Garden to Cup” juicer tavern hybrid, which encompasses the social sophistication of a NYC bar, blended with the best offerings of a take out juice bar.
